On Friday, February 17, 2012, our speaker will be Paula Casey. Ms. Casey will be speaking about women’s suffrage, and particularly about Tennessee’s pivotal role in getting the 19th amendment passed, and thereby giving women the right to vote. This is seems apropos, in light of certain issues being debated in our country right now.
Come, have lunch, great conversations and listen to an interesting speaker. Bring you questions, also. We meet at noon, Friday at the University of Memphis Holiday Inn.
